« Anyone comparing this edition with the previous one will note a few other changes. Material in Chapter VII of the previous editon of Volume I is now moved up and incorporated into Chapters Two and Three of this volume. Also, while the present volume includes James Sattler’s chapter on the early 2 7/8 Gauge, which preceded Standard Gauge, OO Gauge has been moved to Volume II. Our planned Volume IV will provide coverage of Lionel’s Prewar sets. The revised editon of Volume II covers O Gauge–including o27 and 072–as well as OO Gauge »–Introd. of v. 1.
